Monday
Morning tea,
5 C Porridge covered and soaked in boiling water until soft. Top up with water as needed and cook.
Serve as required 1/4 c with fresh milk and a little brown sugar.
3 Fruit selection, allowing the children to choose two pieces. Cut up as requested at the table.
Fresh water in jugs on the table alongside glasses.
Lunch
Pizza Makes 3 pizza bases
1 ¼ C warm water1 packet dry yeast 1 tsp. salt
Finely chopped thyme leaves 3 ½ C flour
1 tsp. sugar ¾ C Oil
Dissolve water, yeast and sugar in a large bowl for 5-10 minutes.
Add salt oil and flour and mix well
Knead and break into 3 even sized balls and leave to stand for 10 minutes.
Flatten onto pizza trays and spread with topping.
Bake at 200 °C until golden
Topping Sweet caramelised onion relish, ham, sliced sausage, cheese, pineapple and tomato

Chicken nuggets with sweetcorn and mashed potato
Instant Pudding Make up the powdered milk as per the instructions on the pack and then make instant pudding as per the instructions on the pack. Serve ¼ C in a glass per child.

Tomato Soup and Toast Heat soup until hot, cook toast 1-2 pieces each child and spread with catering spred (Margarine) Cut toast into strips. Serve ¼-1/2 C soup per child alongside 1-2 pieces of toast.
Custard and Rachelles Steamed plum pudding

or golden syrup steamed pudding. Butter, golden syrup, eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, baking powder, flour, milk, baking soda.
Custard to be made as per instruction on the pack using powdered milk. Serve poured over steamed pudding.
Thursday

Lunch
Mince and Pasta Bolognese
1 cup grated carrot
1-2C pasta sauce (see recipe)
¼ C water
1 ¼ C pasta
1-2C grated cheese
1 Tbs oil
1 onion finely chopped
1-2tsp garlic
1-2kg mince
1tsp salt
2 ball of chopped spinach
Heat oil in a pan fry onion garlic and mince, add salt, tomatoes, spinach and grated carrot and pasta sauce. Add water and bring to a boil while stirring. Cover and simmer for 30minutes.
Boil pasta in salted water 8-10 minutes. Drain well and put into a casserole dish.
Add cooked mince mixture stir gently and sprinkle cheese on top.
Bake uncovered 180° for 30 minutes
